Improving Transparency

Love the game! I think there are two opaque gameplay aspects that could be highlighted on the main page to help/reduce frustration for new players. Unless someone comes to the feedback/updates page, there's no information that different positions carry different weights. Adding this (even without the specific weights) would help people prioritize in their picks, and this would help players understand why the highest sum of ratings doesn't always correspond to the optimal lineup (which is clearly a source of confusion based on the feedback page). I think this becomes clear over time, but even having played quite a bit, I was surprised to find that the QB weight is more than double any other position.I think a second frustration is the apparent disparity between (% change of victory) and (actual percentage of time beating the team in quick play). The sum of the percentages across the whole schedule give the expected record (this is clear), but I think this gives the illusion that each game is being simulated as a win or loss. But this doesn't seem to be what happens. In some capacity, a record is "decided" and the losses are assigned to the games with the lowest chance of victory. This means a player can lose to the same team over and over, whereas the actual percentages suggest that you might end up with the same record but losing to different teams each time (i.e. if you have 5 rounds with an 80% chance to beat the Ravens, you should beat them ~4 times, even if you always end up with a 16-1 record. Instead, the loop has you lose to the Ravens 5 times, which doesn't align with the actual percentage). Implementing the actual percentages might not be worth the work, but the number of posts complaining about the Ravens indicates this is causing some confusion.
