New game mode idea: Bullseye

First of all, been playing for a month and love the game. Thank you so much for all your work! The modes I really enjoy are the ones that force unique answers, like matchup and audible. It's fun when people have to give games a second more than that just auto-including 100s and/or franchise unicorns Tom Brady, Jalen Ramsey, Jerry Rice, etc...My idea is to have a quick play mode called Bullseye. Each round would start with random number between 80 and 100 and the goal is to build a roster as close to that number as possible. Maybe the target number is 97.6, and that would be more or less just picking the best players. But the times when the target score is 92.5 or 88.3 or even 81.1 would force unique answers and reward players who have learned more than just the optimal guys at each position. I think it would be fun as a rotating arena game as a nice change of pace.

Thinking more on this one, I don't think people have a good sense of what a player's ranking is (beyond like the top 50 players or so). So I think, for this mode, we'd want to show the players values as you picked them, and keep on ongoing counter of your team score as you play, so you can adjust to it on the fly

I think a mode like this would be good for H2H or a small group of people. I think its almost the opposite of audible. The less people in the game the better.

That is interesting. I’d love to see this, and it’d force people like me to reconsider how we rank specific players that may not have excelled.

Yes I like it too. It keeps me from spamming no brainer HOFers. You could consider a variation that’s like an auction. You only get so many points. Points are equal to a players overall so a 100 overall player is 100 points.
